Creating Quick Cards decks in the Teacher Dashboard

Creating a custom flash card deck for a single student

If you’re creating a flash card deck only to be used by a single student, log in to your Teacher Dashboard and do the following:

  1.  Click Students List on the left sidebar.
  2.  Find the desired student and click the Overview link next to their name.
  3.  Click the Quick Cards tab.
  4.  Scroll down to the Flashcard Decks section of the page.
  5.  Click Create New Deck.
  6.  Type the name of the deck.
  7.  Type Side A and side B for the first card.
  8.  Click “Add card to deck”.
  9.  Repeat steps 7 and 8 until all cards have been added, then click Save Deck.

Creating a lesson to be saved and shared with multiple students

You may want to create a flashcard deck one time and share it with multiple students now or in the future. To do so, log in to your Teacher Dashboard and do the following:

  1. Click Quick Cards Docs sidebar link on the main dashboard page.
  2. Click Create New Deck.
  3. Type the name of the deck.
  4. Type Side A and side B for the first card.
  5. Click “Add card to deck”.
  6. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until all cards have been added, then click Save Deck.

Sharing your Flashcard Decks with Students

If you have custom flashcards in your Teacher Dashboard and want to share them, read on!

 

  1. Click the Quick Cards Docs sidebar link on the main dashboard page.
  2. Under the Deck heading, check the box next to each deck you wish to share.
  3. Under the Share With heading, select the student(s) who will receive the lesson. To select multiple students, hold the Control key while clicking their names.
  4. Click the Share button. Those students now have the lessons you selected.
